This is a place to read and respond to life stories written by ordinary people who have learned that the act of writing stimulates the memory in surprising ways. Too many of us believe that we cannot write our stories because we cannot remember them very well. Yet the simple secret is that when we engage in the act of writing, our memories come alive. Please read, comment, follow, and subscribe. We look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for touching my life, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteJudy is gone and there is a permanent place that will always be hers. She was very sick so I gave her my permission to slip away from me. My heart and my head will hold on to all the things I knew her to be.
ReplyDeleteJudy is now absent from our midst but present with the Lord in a place where there will be no more tears, no more pain, no more sorrow, and no more death. Jesus said, "Come to me all that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." To God be the glory for the beautiful life of Judy.
ReplyDeleteI met you a year ago and was beginning to know how marvalous person you were. Although you are in heaven, far away from us, you still live in my heart always as Judy who cared about each one of us in the class. You are greatly missed!
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful to have known Judy as one of the many writing companions I have had the privelege to spend time with each week. May the Lord comfort you, Randy. Annette
ReplyDeleteHow very much our Judy has been and will continue to be missed by our memoir writing "family". She will forever be remembered for all her fine qualities: genuine sensitivity, helpfulness to others, positive outlook, lovely smile, beautiful blue eyes, and, of course, her wonderful writing - and reading - talent. Thank you, dear Judy, for being an inspiration to all of us.
ReplyDeleteDear Sweet Judy,
ReplyDeleteIt is so hard to say goodbye. What a privilege it was to have known you. Your brilliant stories and impish sense of humor added dimension to our writing group. You were always so thoughful and caring and I will treasure all the litle Irish trinkets you gave me.
Rest in peace, dear friend. You were truly loved and will be sadly missed.
Judy, you have left a lasting loving impression on our hearts. At our memoir class someone always remembers and shares thoughts of you. I still can't believe you were taken away from us.
ReplyDeleteI miss you. Y.G.A
