I appreciate that, in your heavy responsibility - and certainly heartache - you sincerely appreciated Joe's sweet gesture. I have never met you but know you are a lovely, sincere, very caring person.Charlene Farnsworthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16345066863909073482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2992686662852663243.post-2823364879182880342010-12-15T11:20:17.359-08:002010-12-15T11:20:17.359-08:00From Kacie:

I read a story one time where a lady in the beginning stages of dementia told her husband. "Never forget I'm in here. This was such a tender love story. Also you're a very good writer. I always learn from you- new ways of looking at situations, even in the wake of saddness and impending loss. When you wrote that "demented minds have keener sensibilities in different dimensions than those we ordinarily have." It's as though you are truly gifted with everyday epiphanies. This is not to say that your life has been easy.Quite the opposite, infact, without any family to help you with Joe it must not just be arduous but lonely as well.
I have never meet anyone with a mind like yours, it's as though you posses an extra sensory perception.
Joe giving you the beautiful flower shows that what his mind may not be able to remember-his heart does.
Your Fan-YolandaYolandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16081776498272315900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2992686662852663243.post-13283263350804302542010-12-06T14:11:25.899-08:002010-12-06T14:11:25.899-08:00Peggy -- This is a lovely story and brought tears ...Peggy -- This is a lovely story and brought tears to my eyes, especially at the simplicity of Joe's statement when he brought you the flower. I am so glad that you were willing to share this event with the rest of us.

The last paragraph (your post script) says so much of what we need to hear, and gives your special perspective on the situation.Bonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15647302413116525795noreply@blogger.com
